We had hail damage in September, 2025. Initially, we didn’t plan to file a claim since we had previous problems with State Farm and denied roof damage claims. If you don’t know, State Farm has a horrible reputation for denying roof damage claims. The Precision Roofing team (Alex Deyton, Shawn McClimon) promised that they were experts at working with State Farm to gain claim approvals and would take on the work of gaining the approval. As expected, State Farm rejected the initial claim, but the Precision Roofing team worked through the rejections and red tape leading to State Farm approval in November. Alex Deyton came out three times over the claim process and marked the damage on our roof and worked with the State Farm adjusters to push the claim through. Beyond filing the original claim and coordinating adjuster visits, we did nothing. We were very surprised and happy that Alex and Shawn were able to get State Farm to budge.

Once approved, the process for selecting shingles and scheduling the installation was extremely fast and easy. Alex and Shawn worked with us to get everything scheduled and they had a team on site the day before Thanksgiving. The roofing team finished in a single day. They did a great job on the roof, but where they really excel is the cleanup. With past roofs, the roofers destroyed my bushes and left nails and shingles everywhere. We were hard pressed to find a single nail or part of a shingle after they finished. It was amazing.

All in all, the whole experience with Precision Roofing was great. They worked hard to get our claim approved, were always on time, and did a great job on our roof. If wasn’t for them, we would still have a damaged roof. We were the ONLY house in our neighborhood whose claim was approved, and with State Farm at that!
